Mayors from all over Europe and the United States are in town this week to celebrate Stockholm being the Green Capital of Europe 2010. They are also gathering to discuss issues of urban sustainability, and share experiences, innovations and solutions from their own cities.

Think Globally Radio attended this European Green Capital Conference and had the chance to speak to mayors and officials from Minneapolis, Minnesota; Tallahassee, Florida; Boulder, Colorado; and Riverside, California. This Sunday’s show will feature the interviews with these American mayors representing cities of diverse demographics, history and environments on such questions as smart grids, green growth, cutting carbon, and stopping sprawl.
