The first-ever Global Forum on Sanitation and Hygiene took place from 9 to 14 October 2011 in Mumbai, India, where 500 sanitation and hygiene professionals, as well as communicators, educators, health professionals, architects, academics, social entrepreneurs, philanthropists, leaders and professionals from other disciplines came together. Their aim? To accelerate progress on the most off-track Millennium Development Goal target, sanitation. TGRs Dave Trouba brings home the results of the conference.
