Making the world a better place through social entrepreneurship
Guest : Bill Drayton Sunday, 11 Sep 2011
The principle that innovative and idealistic individuals can organize efforts to affect positive change has never been more relevant than it is today. This is the basis of social entrepreneurship, an idea pioneered by Bill Drayton, the founder and chairman of the Ashoka organization, which supports the work of thousands of social entrepreneurs around the world.
This summer Bill Drayton participated in the Tällberg Forum, where Think Globally Radio had a chance to sit down with “the godfather of social entrepreneurship” to discuss his vision of a world where the power of individuals paves the way for sustainability.
