In an in-depth interview with Sweden’s ambassador for climate change Anna Lindstedt, Think Globally Radio this week examines the current situation surrounding climate negotiations just two weeks before COP 21 gets underway. The interview with Amb. Lindstedt takes up the advantages, complexities and challenges of the new ‘hybrid’ approach—incorporating both ‘bottom up’ pledges from states, and ‘top down’ mechanisms for moving climate mitigation and adaptation forward—that is being pursued under the UNFCCC to reach a legally binding and universal deal in Paris.
