Elaborating the Anthropocene: Erle Ellis
with Prof. Erle Ellis
Think Globally Radio was in attendance at the ‘Anthropocene Curriculum’ conference in Berlin in November 2014, and had the chance to speak with several of the leading thinkers and voices involved in deliberations on the Anthropocene, the proposed geological epoch in which mankind has come to dominate the planet and alter the functioning of Earth systems. The next several episodes of Think Globally Radio will feature these interviews that provide an array of perspectives on the increasingly prominent Anthropocene concept, which is shaping our understanding of environmental issues. The first in this series is an interview with Prof. Erle Ellis, a landscape ecologist and member of the Anthropocene Working Group.
